  1. The Washoe County Health District has reported its first probable case of monkeypox. The individual is in his 20s and has traveled domestically in recent weeks. The individual is currently quarantined and isolated at their home. (This Is Reno)
  2. The Reno City Council approved the first phase of the Moana Springs Community Aquatics and Fitness Center. The groundbreaking will occur next month. The approval was given through a unanimous vote on Wednesday. (This Is Reno)
  3. A northeast Reno fire on Wednesday damaged two homes. The incident occurred in the 1500 block of Montello Street around 6:45 p.m. The Reno Fire Department is currently investigating the fire to determine the cause. The two individuals displaced by the fire are being supported by the American Red Cross. (KOLO)
