🌱 Reno Fashion Show Returns + Multiple Injury Crash In West Reno

Here are the top three stories today in Reno:

  1. The Reno Fashion Show returns on Saturday. The popular event was put on hold for two years during the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, more than 11 brand new designers will be on display with over 200 models. The event will occur at the Eldorado Resort Casino Grand Ballroom at 8:00 p.m. (KOLO)
  2. Reno's Robert John Lanoue has pleaded not guilty in the 1982 killing of a five-year-old girl. The 70-year-old man is a registered sex offender and was arrested after DNA evidence allegedly solved the cold case. Anne Pham was killed while walking to her kindergarten class in Seaside, California. (Nevada Appeal)
  3. A two-vehicle crash in West Reno has sent at least three individuals to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The crash occurred at the intersection of Mae Ann Avenue and Coit Plaza on Sunday night. The Reno Fire Department rescued an individual from a vehicle after their foot became pinned. The crash is currently under investigation to determine the cause. (KTVN)
