Here are the top 3 stories in Reno today:

  1. Recent reports have shown that Reno is in the top 25 most polluted cities list in terms of ozone and short-term particle pollution. The American Lung Association named Reno the 21st most polluted city in terms of ozone pollution and 12th worst for short-term particle pollution. Additional facts and statistics were released last Thursday in their 2022 "State of the Air" report. (KOLO)
  2. A fire that broke out in Panther Valley yesterday claimed the life of one person and one dog, according to the Reno Fire Department. Around 2 p.m., a fire was reported at the Ranger Road Mobile Home Park and two mobile homes were reportedly destroyed. Firefighters struggled to batlte the blaze due to strong winds in the Valley.
