- The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is hosting a free resource fair at Reno Town Mall this Saturday. In an effort to aid in providing services and resources necessary to be successful, over 40 local agencies are planning to attend the fair. The goal is to provide the community with essentials that they may need but are unable to get on their own. The fair will last from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Not only will there be housing and health care resources, but raffles, prizes, and music will also be at the fest. All community members of all ages are encouraged to attend! (KRNV)
- On Tuesday morning, firefighters had to knock down a structure fire that took place in North Reno. At around 6 a.m., the fire department responded to a report on Yorkshire Drive in the Raleigh Heights area. There were no injuries or fatalities, but the cause of the fire is still being investigated. (KRNV)
