  1. A Washoe County sheriff's sergeant is facing charges of domestic battery, resisting arrest, and being an intoxicated pedestrian on a roadway. The sergeant is on paid leave after being arrested on Saturday. This is the second arrest of a sheriff's office employee this year. (ThisisReno)
  2. Police are currently seeking a suspect who stole $30,000 worth of film equipment from a Reno business. Dreampilot Films discovered that someone broke in and stole cameras, lenses, and other equipment overnight on Monday. The suspect is believed to be a man with tattoos on the back of both hands, around 5'8" or 6 feet tall with a "stocky" build. Secret Witness is offering a cash reward of $500 for information leading to an arrest. (KTVN)
  3. Reno resident Matthew Carter, 46, has been arrested on multiple counts of aggravated stalking and harassment after allegedly sending hundreds of death threats, racial smears, and other harassing messages to Democratic state officeholders. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
  4. The Washoe County School District Board recently voted to move ahead with a redistricting plan that will improve representation on its board. (KTVN)
  5. The Nevada Highway Patrol is looking for a driver who fired shots on I-580 near Mill Street in Reno earlier this month. (KKOH)
