Here are the top stories in Reno today:
- Three people were shot at a party near the University of Nevada Reno early Sunday morning. The shooting happened in the 1000 block of Nevada Street and all three victims are currently in stable condition. It's not clear if anyone involved is connected to UNR, and police are trying to determine if there was one suspect or several suspects. (KOLO)
- The Reno Police Department and Dillard's hosted a Toys For Tots drive on Friday. Officials stood outside the Summit Mall and collected toys for children in need this holiday season. If you missed the event and have toys to donate, don't fret: additional drives are being planned for November and December. (KTVN)
- As thanks for his service, a Reno veteran received a brand-new vehicle from Wells Fargo and Michael Hohl Automotive. (Nevada Appeal)
- The Reno Police Department and their Special Weapons and Tactics team responded to a weapons threat at the Lakes at Lemmon Valley apartment complex on Saturday night. (KTVN)
