Co-founder Earstin Whitten claims that giving people things is helpful, but teaching people how to be self-sufficient is even better. 2. An apartment fire took place in south Reno this past Monday night at around 9:00 p.m. When the Reno Fire Department arrived at the Sherwood Apartments, they could see that the fire started in a kitchen on the second floor of the complex and spread to the third floor. According to reports, the cause of the fire is still under investigation. (KRNV)
