The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Reno.
Morning, Reno! Let's get you all caught up to start this day off on an informed note. Here's everything you need to know about what's happening in town today.
First, today's weather:
Some clouds, then sunshine. High: 55 Low: 34.
Here are the top 3 stories in Reno today:
- Even though Nevada System of Higher Education staff members are required to show proof of vaccination against COVID, it is not a requirement for students. In the past, there was a regulation set in place that required students enrolling in classes to provide proof. However, once the regulation expired, it was not renewed. (KUNR Public Radio)
- The National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges have developed new resources to help better support survivors of child human trafficking. With January being the National Human Trafficking Prevention month, it is good to hear that this program will provide better avenues for people who were traumatized in these unfortunate situations. (KOLO)
- Northern Nevada's largest educational and networking organization has shared their best tips to improve your marketing strategies. They recognize that creating a sound story for your business will help you in more ways than you may know. Learn more about their suggestions for improvement! (Reno Gazette Journal)
