Here are the top three stories in Reno today:

  1. The Reno Police Department is searching for a suspect in the robbery of Peppermill Casino earlier this month. The department responded to the casino around 11:30 p.m. on Jul. 15 after the robbery was reported by the victim. The suspect has been identified as wearing a jacket with white stripes on the sleeves, jeans, and red tennis shoes. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department. (KRNV)
  2. A Reno woman will be participating in the 2022 Transplant Games of America in San Diego on Friday. The event goes through Wednesday, Aug. 3. JoAnne Gipson donated a kidney to her co-worker almost 15 years ago. She will be representing Nevada for the fourth year. Click to learn about organ donations. (KOLO)
  3. Reno Public Market has announced its list of food vendors. The market is now closer to opening its doors to the public. The project is meant to showcase local food in one grand food hall.
