The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Balanced State Budget - Tax revenues are expected to flatten. Spending will need to be focused on efficient and effective programs that matter most. Tough decisions will need to be made. I'm well prepared to make those decisions.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I'm a reality-based incumbent that works to protect the sovereignty and finances of families while protecting the public via resisting illegal immigration and crime assuring clean air and water.
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform:
Respect your family, protect your wallet, expand school choice, grow the economy, deliver results, otherwise leave you alone
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this position?
Chaired the largest subcommittee of House Finance delivering two balanced state budgets, selected by the House Speaker to serve on the Joint Fiscal Committee, HHS Oversight Committee, the Prescription Drug Affordability Board, and Committee on Emerging Medical Technology. I've led efforts to transition the YDC from an incarceration center to a behavioral health model and streamlined bureaucracy to support telemedicine as well as Physician Assistant practice in NH.
The best advice ever shared with me was…
1. Marry well - I did.
2. There are two types of men, men who dedicate their career to making money and those that dedicate their career to accomplishing things that they enjoy. I chose the latter.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I love the principles our nation was founded upon. I grew up as an AF brat and Boy Scout. Most of my adult life consisted of a hybrid Army career on active duty and reserves. My oath to protect and preserve the Constitution means a great deal to me. I'll work with anyone who will have an honest conversation while seeking to find what we can agree to agree on. The most important constituents are usually the ones too busy to show up and testify in hearings.
