CT Man Facing Murder Charges After Deadly Hartford Shooting
The accused, from New London, is being held on a $2 million bond on charges including murder in connection with a Manchester man's death.

HARTFORD, CT — A 43-year-old New London man was arrested over the weekend and is facing charges in the death of a 30-year-old Manchester man in a Hartford shooting on the afternoon of Oct. 3, Hartford police said Monday.
The accused, Elvin Gonzalez, is being held on a $2 million bond on charges of murder, criminal possession of a firearm, and criminal attempt to commit assault in the first degree, according to police.
The victim, Chevoyia Rivers, was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound at the scene on Florence Street and later died at the hospital, police said.

Video found after the shooting shows the two men seemingly getting into some sort of altercation before shots were fired, according to police.
Police obtained an arrest warrant for Gonzalez, and he was found Saturday, police said.
