​10th Annual Amherst Candidates Night Booked For Feb. 24

The Southern New Hampshire Branch of the American Association of University Women will host the Zoom event next month.

AMHERST, NH — The Southern New Hampshire Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will host the 10th Annual Amherst Candidates Night via Zoom from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24.

All candidates who have filed seeking to be elected to an Amherst town or school position will be invited. The Zoom link will be published closer to the event on the Amherst Facebook page, the Town and School websites, the Citizen e-newsletter, on Amherst Patch, and other sources.

This event will be recorded and can be viewed on the Town’s Amherst Community Access Television at https://amherstnh.viebit.com/player.php?hash=rgCmZhB1dydv.

Election Day in Amherst is Tuesday, March 8.

AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research. In addition to candidates night, the Southern NH Branch provides scholarships for young women who are pursuing college degrees. AAUW is a non-partisan non-political organization that never endorses candidates or specific parties.
