11th Annual New England Peach Festival, August 15, Milford Community House Lawn

Event Promises Bushels of Fun for Everyone

The 11th Annual New England Peach Festival, sponsored by Milford’s Church of Our Saviour, will be held rain or shine on Saturday, August 15 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. This year’s event moves to a new downtown location on the Milford Community House lawn, located at the corner of Elm and Union streets, just outside of the Milford Oval.

This truly old fashioned New England festival makes a much anticipated return to the local summer festival scene after a year’s hiatus. The event will feature a variety of peach delights including the church’s famous homemade peach pies and peach pockets, jams (both regular and sugar-free), peach sundae sauce, peach breads and more. Come early to get your peach pies and peach pockets as they tend to sell out early.

Do a little early Christmas shopping or pick up a unique gift for yourself at the crafts table while the children participate in a fun activity including games and face painting.

Enjoy a hot dog lunch as you listen to live musical entertainment from a variety of local musicians. Quench your thirst with some delicious homemade peach iced tea and treat your sweet tooth to a fabulous peach sundae, peach shortcake or the Works for dessert.

All profits from this year’s festival will be donated to help two local nonprofits: Bridges, helping victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence, and Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity, dedicated to providing safe, decent and affordable housing to qualifying families in southern New Hampshire
