Firefighters responded to a single-alarm fire in Amherst overnight.
The fire was reported at 3 a.m. Monday in a 2-story building at 17 Old Milford Road, according to emergency radio broadcasts. The blaze was quickly knocked down, although fire crews remained on scene for overhaul.
