The Board of Selectmen have completed the town warrant for this year after a public hearing last week. The proposed operating budget for Amherst has been set at $11,101,696, with the default budget being $10,853,361. The warrant also includes that is being recommended by the Board of Selectmen. The town of Amherst's deliberative session will be Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. in Souhegan Cooperative High School.  Voting will take place on Tuesday, March 13 at Souhegan Cooperative High School from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.
