5 Great Things To Do in NH This Weekend
Don't miss out on all of the fun activities happening in New Hampshire.

1. Eat pasta, support music! The third annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser to support the Souhegan High School Music Programs will be held on Friday, March 30 and Saturday, March 31 from 5-6:30 p.m. in the Souhegan High School Cafeteria. Admission is $5.00 per person or $20 per family and will be taken at the door. Proceeds will benefit the SHS music programs.
2. Police vs. Fire! New Hampshire Police and Firefighters from across the state come together in this battle of "Good vs. Good" to face-off for kids at CHaD, the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. The 5th Annual CHaD Battle of the Badges Hockey Championship will take place again at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Saturday. The Police team won 4-2 last year to tie the series at 2-2.
3. A night of laughter! Amherst Junior Women's Club is hosting a “Night of Comedy” at the Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley in Milford on Saturday starting at 6 p.m. Three great comedians will begin at 8 p.m.: Rob Steen who has been seen on David Letterman and Comedy Central; Tom Hayes, who is part of the Boston Comedy scene and has performed with Stephen Wright, Lenny Clark and Bobcat Goldthwait; and Jay Grove who is a New Hampshire comedian from a small town upbringing that is a crowd favorite and is a huge hit in the comedy scene. There will be a silent auction from 6pm until 7:30 where appetizers will be provided and a cash bar is available. Details and tickets available at www.AmherstJuniors.org or by emailing webmaster@amherstjuniors.org

4. Student actors perform! The 20th annual spring musical, Anything Goes, will be performed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 29, 30 and 31. Curtain time is 7 P.M all three nights. A talented cast of 40+ performers is working hard to perfect the Cole Porter songs, energetic tap dances, and snappy dialogue that characterize this 80's remake of the 30's Broadway classic.
5. A showstopper! The Palace Theater in Manchester will be playing Chicago this weekend. An electrifying tale of murder, greed, corruption, violence, exploitation, adultery and treachery – all those things we hold near and dear to our hearts. Filled with one showstopper after another with some of the best dancing, a gorgeous ensemble performing eye-popping numbers choreographed in the style of Bob Fosse.
