1. Comic nerds unite! The Granite State Comicon the state's largest comic book convention returns to the Manchester on Sunday! Featuring over 200 tables of artists and dealers from around the region including special guests Eric Powell (creator of The Goon), Shelli Peroline and Bradon Lamb (artists for Adventure Time) and actress Amy Okuda (The Guild). Fans attending Granitecon can also participate in the annual costume contest, get their picture taken with Stormtroopers, Ghostbusters and pirates, play video games on 20 foot screens, partake in industry panels or try a board game! For a full list of events visit www.granitecon.com.

2. A glass of good times! Join the staff of Grape Time Winery (a division of IncrediBREW, Inc.) on Friday, June 8 at 6 p.m. for a Summer Sippin' Winefest! For only $60, make wine while enjoying the taste of several summer varieties and learn about bottling and labeling. In addition, receive six bottles of wine (two of each variety) to bring home with you to enjoy! The featured wines this time around are; Pomegranate Zinfandel, Granny Smith Riesling and White Zinfandel, sweet, light and delicious! No experience necessary. When summer arrives, these wines will be ready!

Join The Cozy Tea Cart in Brookline for their annual open house and grand opening on Saturday, June 9. Sample fresh baked foods and tea from the iced tea fountains, share conversation amongst friends, but most of all...Enjoy a Taste of Tranquility. 5. Have a laugh! Local comedians Rob Steen, Paul Nardizzi, and Jody Sloane are going to give a great night of stand up. Join them at the Holiday Inn Ballroom in Concord on Friday, June 8 for the NH FAPA Comedy Night and Silent Auction Fundraiser. There will also be a silent auction. All proceeds benefit the NH Foster Adoptive Parent Association. The mission of NH FAPA is to support foster and adoptive parents and be a strong, consistent voice on behalf of all children.
