1. Save a furry friend! Treasures Antiques Collectables & MORE will host their annual on May 5 & 6 from 9-5, rain or shine. Over 130 vendors are expected to attend. Artisans, crafters, face painter, psychics jewelry, baked goods & other foods, candles, florals, soap, sports, clothing, pet items, yard sale items and much more. CATS AND KITTENS WILL BE THERE FOR ADOPTION!
2. Touch a Truck! Come join in what is quickly becoming a favorite family activity! Touch A Truck Day gives the young and young at heart will have the opportunity to see, touch and explore large and fun vehicles from our town. Dump trucks, utility trucks, ambulances, police cars and fire trucks are just a few of the many types of vehicles that will be at this event. Experience these awesome vehicles up close and personally. The Amherst Fire Department will have a concession and we have invited some special friends to join. Be at Souhegan High School from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
3. Out of this world! Join the Discovery Center for Aerospacefest 2012: X-treme Flight, an astronomy and aviation extravaganza! This year’s festival at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center will feature planes that have and are pushing the envelope in flight – like the newly displayed XF8U-2 Crusader – and planetarium show Attack of the Space Pirates, coming back by popular demand featuring space explorers flying to save the universe from the schemes of space pirates!

4. Shear fun! Join Someday Farm in Canterbury for their Annual Alpaca Shearing Day! Come early for coffee work, be prepared to get fuzzy, maybe a tad dirty. Or you can just hang out, check out the shop and barn and visit animals, walking tour around fields, shearing ends-good question! Food and beverages all day. Kids activities. Spinning and knitting demos 11-1:00. All animals 10 percent off listed prices, come see who you could take home, and you get their fleece!
5. Legally funny! The hilarious MGM film is Broadway's new smash hit musical, and now Legally Blonde, the musical comes to The Palace Theatre! Legally Blonde follows sorority star Elle Woods, an underestimated blonde who doesn’t take “no” for an answer. When her boyfriend dumps her for someone more “serious,” Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law. Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style.
