5 Things To Do This Weekend
Arts and entertainment, some fun outdoor activities, and a grand opening brunch.

1) Go the distance. Two of several great running races this weekend are the Ghost Train Rail Race, an Ultra race Oct. 27 (which is now full) and a 15-mile race Oct. 28, starting at the Department of Public Works, 289 South Street in Milford. Check out coolrunning.com for other foot races. The Ghost Train Rail Race benefits the Milford and Brookline conservation commissions.
2) The Indigo Girls, with full band, perform Sunday, Oct. 28, at the Capital Center for the Arts in Concord. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.
3) Catch Footloose at the Palace Theatre in Manchester. The production opens Friday, Oct. 26, and runs through Nov. 10. Performance times this weekend: 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday.

4) Beaux Arts. "Printmaking in the Age of Rembrandt" is now on view at The Currier
5) A Grand Sunday Brunch. The Labelle Winery has a grand opening brunch on Sunday, Oct. 28, at 11:30 a.m. Part of the celebration includes the first artist exhibition with Wilton's William Schnute, internationally acclaimed wood carver, sculptor and author. 345 Route 101 in Amherst.
