Absentee Ballots For Amherst Residents

Find out how to get your vote counted even if you cannot get to the polls on election day.

Don't let your vote go to waste.

Amherst's town election day is coming up on Tuesday, March. 13 and absentee ballots are available for those who are not able to make it to the voting booth.

New Hampshire law requires that you vote in person at the polling place unless you plan to be absent on election day, cannot appear in public on election day because of observance of a religious commitment, are unable to vote because of a disability or you cannot appear at any time during the polling hours because an employment obligation requires you to remain physically at work or to be in transit to or from the time the polls open until after the time polls close.
