POLICE & FIRE LOG: Accident Leads To DWI Arrest

[Friday, Dec. 23]

At 6:18 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Old Mont Vernon Road. No injuries were reported. The driver was Antonio Ayala, 58, of Weare.

At 7:44 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported. One driver Candace Bouchard, 48, of Milford and the other is unknown.

At 9:35 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Shannon M. Rogers, 35, of 57 Elm Street #4, Milford, NH on a charge of Transportation of a Controlled Drug. Rogers was released on $600 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Jan. 12, 2012 in the Milford District Court.

[Sunday, Dec. 25]

At 7:49 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested John Briere, 45, of 95 Powers Street #99, Milford, NH on an arrest warrant issued by the Milford Police Department. Briere was released on $5,000 PR bail, and no further action is anticipated by the Amherst Police Department.

At 3:30 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Jeremy Michael Burrows, 22, of 3 Echo Avenue, Nashua, NH on a charge of Simple Assault. Burrows was released on $1000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Jan. 12, 2012 in the Milford District Court.

[Monday, Dec. 26]

At 6:45 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on the Route 101 eastbound off ramp to Route 101A. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Connor Pratt, 19, of Wilton and Doreen Fisher, 49, of Hollis.

At 12:47 p.m., the Amherst Fire Department responded to Pleasant Lane for a reported fire alarm activation.

[Tuesday, Dec. 27]

At 5:22 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on the Route 101 westbound off ramp to Baboosic Lake Road. No injuries were reported. The drivers were  Lynette S. Silarski, 56, of Amherst and Emily Pollack, 28, of Quincy, MA. Silarksi was arrested at the scene and charged with DWI.

At 5:35 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Lynette S. Silarski, 56, of 32 Manchester Road, Amherst, NH on charges of Driving While Under the Influence of Liquor and Open Container Law. Silarksi was released on $500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Jan. 12, 2012 in the Milford District Court.
