Amherst Fire Log: Smoke, Odors Reported on Old Mont Vernon Road

The following are excerpts from the Amherst Fire Department log:

1:11 p.m. on Aug. 26, 2015: The Amherst Fire Department was sent to Gowing Lane for a fire alarm activation.

6:33 p.m. on Aug. 26: An alarm activated on Mack Hill Road.

1:22 p.m. on Aug. 30: The Amherst Fire Department was called to a structure fire on Deerwood Drive.

5:42 p.m. on Aug. 30: An alarm activation was reported on Colonel Wilkins Road.

1:40 p.m. on Aug. 31: The Amherst Fire Department was sent to Route 101A for a fire alarm activation.

8:49 a.m. on Sept. 3: Fire and rescue teams were sent to Old Mont Vernon Road for a report of smoke and odors in the area.

8:47 p.m. on Sept. 5: An alarm activation was reported on Winterberry Drive.
