Amherst Man Arrested for DWI, Drugs in Nashua

Edward Labell, 11 others charged after New Hampshire State Police sobriety checkpoint.

Twelve people were arrested during a sobriety checkpoint in Nashua Friday night.

Edward Labell, 37 of Amherst, was arrested for DWI subsequent and possession of a controlled drug, during the checkpoint, according to police.

Three were charged with DWI; one was charged with drug possession. Four juveniles were also arrested for alcohol possession. The checkpoint was held West Hollis Street from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.
