Amherst Marathon Runners' Results

See how our town fared in a very hot Boston Marathon this year.

The heat may have slowed them down, but many runners pushed through the heat to finish the Boston Marathon today.

Temperatures were in the 80s today, which made today the second slowest marathon race since 1985, according to the Associated Press.

The winner this year was Wesley Korir at a time of 2 hours, 12 minutes, 40 sconds. Korir is a Kenyan citizen and a permanent resident of the United States.
