Amherst Men Indicted on Drug Charges

Indictments recently released by the Hillsborough County Superior Court include the following. An indictment does not mean a conviction; it's a formal charge of the allegations at hand.

• Ignacio Cruz, 35, of 48 Ponemah Road, Amherst, indicted for possession of a controlled drug, second offense, a class B felony. The indictment alleges he possessed a quantity of Lorazepam.

• Thomas Cuddy, 27, of 18 Highland Ave., Amherst, indicted for possession of a narcotic drug on or around July 6 in Milford. He allegedly possessed a quantity of heroin.

• Malcolm Salls, 43, of 6 Junkins Lane, Amherst, indicted for allegedly committing second degree assault, punching a man in the head, which caused fractures.
