Amherst Photographer Wins International Awards
Marsha Vander Mey of Harper Point Photography has works on display at CNN early next year.
Photographs created by Marsha Vander Mey of Harper Point Photography of Amherst have been accepted into the GENERAL and LOAN Collection of Professional Photographers of America’s (PPA) 2015 International Photographic Competition, according to a press statement.
Vander Mey’s work will be on display at the CNN Center in Atlanta GA, Jan. 10-14, 2016.
This International Photographic Exhibition is held in conjunction with Imaging USA, an annual convention and expo for professional photographers and several photographic associations. Vander Mey’s photographs were judged against 30,000 entries world-wide. PPA’s Imaging Excellence Award recognizes those individuals who have obtained their master’s degree in photography and continue to excel in their profession and succeed in PPA’s International Print Competition. To be eligible for this honor, an entrant must hold a Master of Photography or Master Artist degree from PPA and have a minimum of 13 images accepted into the PPA Loan Collection.

Marsha is a member of the Professional Photographers of America and is the President of New Hampshire Professional Photographers Association. She has won numerous awards for her work including the Fuji Masterpiece Award and was voted Best Photographer of the Souhegan Region. Her work has been published in numerous publications and been shown in International Exhibitions.
