Amherst Police Log: Elderly Man Arrested for OUI

Plus, cars strike deer on Route 101 and teen busted on a drug charge.

Incidents

  • 5:44 p.m. on Oct. 23: Amherst Police were sent to a two-car accident on Route 101 at Horace Greeley Road. No injuries were reported.
  • 7:14 a.m. on Oct. 25: Amherst Police were sent to a crash between a car and a deer on Route 101.
  • 12:40 p.m. on Oct. 25: No injuries were reported at a single car accident on Route 101.
  • 4:14 p.m. on Oct. 25: Police were called to a two-car crash in the Walmart parking lot. There were no injuries.
  • 7:29 p.m. on Oct. 25: A two-car crash was reported at Route 101 and Blueberry Hill Road. There were no injuries reported.
  • 11:50 p.m. on Oct. 26: A car crashed into a deer on Chestnut Hill Road.
  • 6:27 p.m. on Oct. 29: A driver struck a deer on Route 101. There were no injuries reported.

Arrests

Joseph Tremblay, 21, of New Boston, was arrested at 2:02 p.m. on Oct. 23, and charged with driving after suspension and a bench warrant out of Portsmouth District Court. He was arraigned on Nov. 6.

Skye St. James, 18, of Amherst, was arrested at 12:10 a.m. on Oct. 27, on possession of a controlled drug and transportation of a controlled drug. She was arraigned on Nov. 6.

John Conley, 28, of Nashua, was arrested 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 29, on a disobey a police officer charge. He was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Dec. 4.

Cheryl Howes, 66, of Amherst, was arrested at 3:52 p.m. on Oct. 30, on a driving while under the influence of liquor charge. He’s due in court on Nov. 13.
