Incidents

  • 7:18 a.m. on Jan. 28, 2015: Amherst Police were called to an accident, without injuries, in the parking lot of Labelle Winery.
  • 11:05 a.m. on Jan. 28: A two-vehicle accident was reported on Eaton Road. There were no injuries.
  • 3:07 p.m. on Jan. 28: Police were sent to a hit-and-run accident in the parking lot of the Amherst Walmart.
  • 5:43 p.m. on Jan. 28: A two-vehicle accident, without injury, were reported on Route 101A at Route 122.
  • 8:08 a.m. on Jan. 29: A two-vehicle accident, without injury, were reported on Route 101A at Route 122.
  • 12:43 p.m. on Jan. 29: A single vehicle crash, with minor injuries, was reported at the Amherst transfer station.

Arrests

Shannon Austin, 24, of Hudson, was arrested at 9:20 p.m. on Jan. 30, on a driving after suspension charge and a bench warrant out of Nashua District Court. He was arraigned on Feb. 19, in Milford District Court.

Alden Finver, 26, of Portsmouth, was arrested at 12:48 a.m. on Jan. 31, and charged with driving after suspension and driving after suspension of registration of vehicle. He was arraigned in Milford District Court on Feb. 19.

Brian K. Grant, 49, of Amherst, was arrested at 11:08 a.m. on Jan. 31, on a forgery charge. He’s due in court on Feb. 26.
