Amherst Police Log: Man Arrested for Simple Assault
Plus, Bedford man charged with DWI and a hit-and-run was reported on Route 101A.

Incidents
- 1:03 p.m. on Oct. 15, 2015: Amherst Police responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported.
- 9:15 p.m. on Oct. 16: A car struck a deer on Route 101A. No injuries were reported.
- 11:08 a.m. on Oct. 17: The Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident in the Walmart parking lot. No injuries were reported.
- 7:18 p.m. on Oct. 17: Amherst Police responded to a hit-and-run accident at Route 101A and Route 122. No injuries were reported.
Arrests
Todd Neumann, 43, of Amherst, was arrested at 1:45 p.m. on Oct. 24, 2015, on a charge of simple assault. Neumann was released on $2,500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Dec. 3, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

James Metivier, 43, of Bedford, was arrested at 9:15 p.m. on Oct. 25, on a charge of aggravated DWI. Metivier was released on $500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Nov. 5, 2015 at the Milford District Court.
