Amherst Police Log: Man Charged with Resisting, Open Container
Plus, cars strike deer in town; Nashua man arrested on a warrant.

Incidents
- 3:28 p.m. on Oct. 9: Amherst Police were called to a two-car crash, without injuries, on Route 101A.
- 3:47 p.m. on Oct. 14: There were no injuries were reported at a two-car accident on Camp Road at Route 101.
- 12:18 p.m. on Oct. 15: A two-car crash was reported in the parking lot of Souhegan High School between a teen and a parked vehicle.
- 6:54 a.m. on Oct. 16: A car struck a deer on Route 101.
- 6 a.m. on Oct. 17: A car struck a deer on Ponemah Road.
- 12:10 p.m. on Oct. 18: Amherst Police were sent to a two-car crash at Ponemah Road at Merrimack Road. There were no injuries reported.
- 5:44 p.m. on Oct. 20: A car struck a deer on Route 101.
Arrests
Shawn Andrew Keenan, 31, of Amherst, was arrested at 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 19, on charges of resisting arrest or detention and open container law. He was arraigned in Milford District Court on Nov. 6.

Justin A. Dutton, 32, of Nashua, was arrested at 9:50 p.m. on Oct. 19, was arrested on a Merrimack Police Department warrant.
