Amherst Police Log: Nashua Man Charged with Theft

Plus, local man faces forgery charge; accidents around town.

Incidents

  • 1:20 p.m. on Feb. 5, 2015: Amherst Police were called to a two-vehicle accident, with minor injuries, on Lyndeborough Road.
  • 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 7: Officers were called to a crash on Amherst Street between two vehicles. There were no injuries reported.
  • 9:16 a.m. on Feb. 11: Police were sent to a two-vehicle accident, without injury, on Route 101A.
  • 1:54 p.m. on Feb. 11: A two-vehicle crash, without injuries, was reported on Veterans Road.

Arrests

Brian Grant, 49, of Amherst, was arrested at 2:20 p.m. on Feb. 11, on a charge of forgery. He was arraigned on Feb. 26, in Milford District Court.

Joseph Kearney Jr., 32, of Nashua, was arrested at 8 p.m. on Feb. 12, on a charge of theft by deception. He’s due in court on March 19.

Byron Chicklis, 28, of Nashua, was arrested at 12:30 a.m. on Feb. 17, and charged with driving after suspension and driving after suspension of registration of vehicle.
