Amherst Police Log: Nashua Men Arrested on Theft Charges

Incidents

• 9:09 p.m. on July 6: The Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported.
• 7:25 p.m. on July 7: The Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Horace Greeley Road. Minor injuries were reported. The driver, Lyndsey Carter, 28, of Wilton, received a summons to appear in the Milford District Court on Aug. 20, 2015, for negligent driving.
• 5:45 p.m. on July 8: The Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident which occurred on Ponemah Road at Merrimack Road. No injuries were reported.
• 9:34 p.m. on July 9: The Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported.

Arrests

Ryan Coutu, 29, of Pepperell, MA, was arrested at 6:26 p.m. on July 5, 2015, on a theft charge. Coutu was released on $5,000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Aug. 20, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Julio C. Moreira, 31, of Nashua, was arrested at 2:10 a.m. on July 6, on a charge of criminal liability for the conduct of another. Moreira was released on $1,000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Aug. 20, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Devin Swanfeldt, 24, of Nashua, was arrested at 2:20 a.m. on July 6, on a charge of theft. Swanfeldt was released on $1,000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Aug. 20, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Jacob Haggerty, 26, of Milford, was arrested at 9:15 a.m. on July 7, on charges of driving after suspension, suspended registrations and disobeying a police officer. Haggerty was released on $2,500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Aug. 20, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Mark Chiasson, 23, of Nashua, was arrested at 2:32 p.m. on July 10, on a charge of theft. Chiasson was released on $600 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Aug. 20, 2015, at the Milford District Court.
