Amherst Police Log: Resident Arrested on Cruelty to Animals Charge

AMHERST, NH - Incidents

• At 9:02 a.m. on June 25, 2015, the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Amherst Street at Lyndeborough Road. No injuries were reported.
• At 11:49 a.m. on July 3, the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported.
• At 5:06 p.m. on July 6, the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Blueberry Hill Road. No injuries were reported.
• At 4:33 p.m. on July 7, the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident at the Amherst Transfer Station. No injuries were reported.

Arrests

Inara Strand, 45, of Weare, was arrested at 10:21 p.m. on June 30, 2015, on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Goffstown District Court. Strand was released on $5,000 PR bail, with a court date set for Sept. 8, 2015, at the Goffstown District Court.

Kristopher Hazen, 37, of Amherst, was arrested at 12:08 a.m. on July 1, for reckless operation, after a crash on County Road. He was released on $500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for July 30, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Tracy Lacombe, 42, of Amherst, was arrested at 2:50 p.m. on July 2, on a charge of cruelty to animals. Lacombe was released on a summons to appear in the Milford District Court on July 30, 2015.

David R. Ciaschini, 60, of Holden, MA, was arrested at 2:45 a.m. on July 3, on charges of reckless operation and disobeying a police officer. Ciaschini was released on $800 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Aug. 20, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Justin Shaffer, 18, of Merrimack, was arrested at 12:30 a.m. on July 4, on charges of possession of a controlled drug and transportation of a controlled drug. Shaffer was released on $500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for July 30, 2015, at the Milford District Court.
