Amherst Police Log: Two from Merrimack Arrested on Drug Charges

Incidents

• 6:35 p.m. on May 24, 2015: Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported.
• 12:39 p.m. on May 27: Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident in the Walmart parking lot. No injuries were reported.
• 8 a.m. on May 28: Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident in the parking lot of 5 Northern Boulevard. No injuries were reported.

Arrests

Vanessa Popovich, 21, of Merrimack, was arrested at 1 p.m. on May 26, 2015, on a charge of transportation of a controlled drug. Popovich was released on $1,000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for June 11, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Nicholas Vaughns, 25, of Merrimack, at 1 p.m. on May 26, on a charge of possession of a controlled drug. Vaughns was released on $1,000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for June 11, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Tabitha Beauchesne, 23, of Merrimack, was arrested at 3:41 p.m. on May 26, on a charge of theft. Beauchesne was released on $500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for June 25, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Willard Dean, 68, of Amherst, was arrested at 2:37 p.m. on May 29, on a charge of second-degree assault. Dean was released on $1,000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for June 25, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Angela Hoang, 25, of Nashua, was arrested at 3:35 p.m. on May 29, on a charge of transportation of a controlled drug. Hoang was released on $1,000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for June 25, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

On May 30, 2015 at 11:55 a.m., the Amherst Police Department detained a juvenile on a charge of simple assault. Court action is anticipated.

Benny R. Affonso, 23, of Milford, was arrested at 3:28 p.m. on May 30, on a charge of theft. Affonso was released on $1,000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for June 25, 2015, at the Milford District Court.
