Amherst Police Log: Vehicles Hit More Deer

Plus, man arrested for criminal threatening; Lyndeborough woman arrested on drug, driving charges.

Incidents

  • 12:38 p.m. on Nov. 19: Amherst Police were called to a crash where a vehicle struck a parked vehicle on School Street. No injuries were reported.
  • 6:01 a.m. on Nov. 20: A vehicle struck a deer on Route 101.
  • 5:41 p.m. on Nov 20: A vehicle struck a deer on Route 101.
  • 1:24 a.m. on Nov. 21: A car struck a deer on Route 101A.
  • 5:22 p.m. on Nov. 21: Police were sent to a two-vehicle crash in the Walmart parking lot. No injuries were reported.
  • 11:09 a.m. on Nov. 22: A car struck a deer on Route 101.
  • 12:42 p.m. on Nov. 22: Amherst Police were called to a five-vehicle accident on Route 101A but no injuries were reported.

Arrests

El Mehdi Idy, 27, of Manchester, was arrested at 5:17 p.m. on Nov. 20, on a theft charge. Idy is due in Milford District Court on Jan. 8, 2015.

Raymond Lopez, 25, of Nashua, was arrested at 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 22, on a theft charge. He set to be arraigned on Dec. 18.

Andrew Hall, 29, of Amherst, was arrested at 8:55 p.m. on Nov. 24, on a criminal threatening charge. He’s due in court on Jan. 8, 2015.

Ann Colburn, 35, of Lyndeborough, was arrested at 2:40 a.m. on Nov. 26, and charged with driving after suspension, disobeying an officer, possession of a controlled drug and transportation of a controlled drug. She’s due in court on Jan. 8, 2015.
