Amherst Police Log: Vermont Man Arrested on Drug, Driving Charges

Plus, three from Nashua arrested, too.

Incidents

  • 7:45 a.m. on Feb. 19, 2015: Amherst Police were sent to a two-vehicle accident on Thornton Ferry Road II. No injuries were reported.
  • 9:37 a.m. on Feb. 19: A vehicle crash on Mont Vernon Road.
  • 1:49 p.m. on Feb. 19: A two-vehicle accident, without injuries, was reported on the eastbound off ramp of Route 101 to Route 101A.
  • 7:28 p.m. on Feb. 19: A single vehicle reportedly crashed on Lyndeborough Road.
  • 2:13 p.m. on Feb. 22: Police were called to a vehicle versus a pedestrian scene on Amherst Crossing. Minor injuries were reported.
  • 3:01 p.m. on Feb. 22: A two-vehicle accident was reported in the parking lot of the Walmart Superstore.
  • 3:35 p.m. on Feb. 24. A two-car crash was reported on Route 101A. There were no injuries reported.

Arrests

Marcus Watkins, 30, of Richmond, VT, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 21, 2015, and charged with driving after suspension, possession of a controlled drug, and fugitive from justice. He was arraigned on Feb. 23, in Milford District Court.

Deborah Lee Bryson, 36, of Nashua, was arrested at 8:12 p.m. on Feb. 23, on a theft charge. She’s due in court on March 26.

Rushi Panchal, 34, of Hooksett, was arrested at 8:15 p.m. on Feb. 25, for driving after suspension and driving after suspension of registration of vehicle. He was arraigned on March 19.

Ricardo Velazquez, 31, of Nashua, was arrested at 3:15 a.m. on Feb. 26, on a charge of fraudulent use of a credit card. Also charged with criminal liability for the conduct of another was Samantha Shedmock, 27, of Nashua. Both are due in court on March 26.
