Amherst Rep Roll Call On Expanded Gambling
How did your state reps vote on HB593?

On Wednesday the New Hampshire House of Representatives , which would have expanded gambling in New Hampshire.
The bill was essentially dead after a Ways and Means Committee-endorsed amendment failed by a 195-154 vote. This amendment would have fleshed out the bill with a total of four casinos, established oversight and usage of casino revenue.
A different amendment from Manchester Republican Steve Vaillancourt that would have promoted smaller casinos and eliminated larger casinos also failed. From there, the unamended bill failed 226 to 118 and was then voted inexpedient to legislate 236 to 108.
