AMHERST, NH — Voters in Amherst will be going to the polls on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, to decide budgets and who will lead the town’s boards. Polls will be open in town from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Souhegan High School. For fiscal year 2019, voters will consider a proposal to raise the town’s budget to just shy of $13.9 million.

This year, there is a competitive Board of Selectmen’s race with three candidates seeking two seats with John D’Angelo challenging incumbents Mike Akillian and Reed Panasiti. All other town races are uncontested.
