The State Primary Election Day is Sept. 8, 2026.

June 2 was the last day to change party affiliation before the September primary. Voters who register after that date can declare a party when they register.

The session offers one more local option for residents preparing to vote in the primary. The town notice also states that new voters may register during Town Hall business hours up until 10 days before Election Day. Residents may also register at the polls on Election Day, according to the notice.

Questions about voter registration and absentee ballots should be directed to the Town Clerk at 603-673-6041, Ext. 203.

For residents who are not sure whether they are already registered, the town says the voter checklist can be reviewed at Town Hall.

Voters can also check their registration status online through the state voter information page at https://app.sos.nh.gov/viphome.
