Walnut Hill Insurance Agency of Amherst merges with Davis & Towle Insurance Group of Amherst, Concord, Franklin, Henniker and Hillsborough

Jeffrey K. Towle, president of the Davis & Towle Insurance Group and Don Carper, III, president of Walnut Hill Insurance Agency of Amherst are pleased to announce that the Walnut Hill Agency has merged with Davis & Towle of Amherst, Concord, Franklin, Henniker and Hillsborough. Don Carper, III, will continue to serve as manager of the newly formed agency, Davis & Towle Walnut Hill, LLC, with Jeffrey K. Towle leading the organization as president.

Together as Davis & Towle Walnut Hill, the agencies will continue to offer a broad range of personal and commercial insurance products throughout the Southern New Hampshire region, as well as explore new markets.

Davis & Towle Walnut Hill will operate out of the Davis & Towle Insurance Group’s existing Amherst location of 27 Route 101A. Davis & Towle also has offices on Airport Road in Concord, N.H., on Central Street in Franklin, N.H., in Proctor Square in Henniker, N.H. and on School Street in Hillsborough, N.H. The agency was founded in 1954 and has grown into a full service insurance agency serving all of New Hampshire.

The Walnut Hill Insurance Agency, formerly located at 282 Route 101 in Amherst, was founded in 1987 by Don Carper, Jr. and his son, Don Carper, III. Walnut Hill’s business model was simple, Carper, III said, operating on the idea that once the agency gained an insured, the best way to stay in business was to keep the customer happy. This practice led to referrals and growth that has carried the agency to 25 successful years in the insurance industry.
