PTA's Oklahoma! Premieres This Week!

The Amherst PTA is proud to announce it's 60th year’s production of Oklahoma!

Begun back in 1953, the Amherst PTA has brought 6 decades of wonderful community theatre to Southern New Hampshire. Oklahoma! is a classic favorite and first musical ever written by famed composers Rodgers and Hammerstein, bringing a little bit of 1906 Indian Territory right here in Amherst.

Don't miss the incredible sets, stellar cast, and catchy musical numbers, fun for the entire family. Directed by Roger Hurd of Amherst, Music Director Kim Whitehead of Milford, Choreography by Vouli Anthidimou of Amherst, and Advisor to the Director Alan D. Kaplan of Manchester. Milford Father and son team, Steve and Nick Hammes as Curly and cowboy Will Parker.

The very talented Souhegan Valley Chorus Director and Milford high school music teacher Jennifer Erdody as Laurey, and Amherst teen aspiring actress Olivia Vordenberg as Ado Annie. Dave Ostrowski (photo), plays the lonely and tormented Jud Fry. And newcomer to the Amherst PTA, Ellen Cunis pulls off a touching performance as Laurey's supportive and poignant Aunt Eller. Co-Producers Jackie O'Dowd and Rita Piotrowski.

All profits go to the elementary and middle schools in Amherst and Mont Vernon.
