Audi Busted for Speeding 102 MPH

Mont Vernon driver allegedly reckless south of the Bedford toll plaza on the F.E. Everett.

New Hampshire State Police arrested a Mont Vernon man Jan. 11 for allegedly speeding at 102 mph and recklessly changing lanes south of the Bedford tolls on the F.E. Everett Turnpike.

Police identified the driver as Joseph Johnsick, 20, of Mont Vernon.

Trooper Matthew Lapierre, on patrol near the Bedford toll plaza, reported observing a silver 2002 Audi S4 southbound at a high rate of speed. Lapierre clocked the car at 102 mph while making lane changes, police said.

Johnsick was arrested and charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle. He is ordered to appear in Merrimack District Court to answer to the charge.
