Board to Discuss Town Goals, Anti-Littering Campaign

Tonight's Select Board meeting begins at 6:30 pm at the upper-level of the Amherst Town Hall

The Amherst Select Board will be focusing on organization tonight as it puts together a Budget Timeline and goes over 2012 Town Goals.

Last week, the board decided to select as the new Town Administrator, which means a transition process between now and when he starts in a few months.

The anti-littering campaign will be discussed tonight, which is being organized by George Coddington. The board will be discuss approving signage for the effort to reduce litter in the town, which would cost about $1,500.

The will also be parked outside at tonight’s meeting for the board and public to check out.
