Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras 56th Season Opening Concert

Student from Amherst will be performing at Symphony Hall for the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras’ 56th Season Opening Concert

The Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras
(BYSO) begins their 2013-2014 season under the leadership of Music
Director Federico Cortese, who has led BYSO for the past 14 years. BYSO,
now in its 56th season,
continues its diverse programming with initiatives to attract new and returning audiences.
On October 13, 2013 at 3pm at Symphony Hall, BYSO will open its 56th season with Boston Youth Symphony, BYSO’s premier orchestra, performing Brahms’
Symphony No. 3 and Stravinsky’s Symphony in Three Movements, conducted by Federico Cortese.
