2012-2013 Reflections Program returns to AMS!
Are you familiar with the PTA Reflections Program? It is coming back to the Amherst Middle School! Students at AMS will have the opportunity to participate thanks to a wonderful volunteer!
Sue Ries, a Mont Vernon resident, has graciously volunteered to organize this wonderful opportunity for our AMS students. Sue contacted the PTA earlier in the week and met with Vice President, Claudine Hessmer-Husainy, and President, Paula-Marie Passen. Both Claudine and Paula-Marie were thrilled to see the excitement that Sue is so willing to share with our students.
What is the Reflections Program? "For more than 40 years the National PTA Reflections Program has engaged millions of children in the arts. Students in grades pre-K - 12 create artwork and are recognized for their achievement in six categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Musical Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts."
