Amherst Country Club Host to 18th Annual Rotary 100 Holes
The Iron Man of Golf raises funds for several worthy charities in Amherst and neighboring towns.
100 Holes of Golf in One Day! The "Iron Man" of the golf world will take place next Friday at Amherst Country Club. Milford Rotary Club (which includes Amherst) holds this annual event for the diehard as one of their major fundraisers of the year. Last year, $47,000 was raised on that one day by the contributions of golfers and the raffle held. That money was donated to area charities in Mont Vernon, Wilton, Amherst as well as Milford.
