Amherst PTA Information Night a Success!

The Amherst fire truck, ski programs, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, the Historical Society, dance groups, and more were all present at the Amherst PTA Family Information Night!

Amherst PTA Family Information Night a success! Thirty-eight area organizations and businesses were at Wilkins School handing out balloons, giving away raffle prizes, and just enjoying the evening with our community!

The PTA had several new families join. Sue Ries, organizing Reflections, informed the board that another volunteer has come forward to assist her.  Guests of the event shared thoughts and ideas! Everyone enjoyed meeting new people and learning about the many opportunities our community has to offer.

To everyone that participated, THANK YOU! Jamie Koch, THANK YOU for organizing the event! If you missed this event, you missed a wonderful, informative, FUN evening; but don't worry, there are many more to come for the 2012-2013 school year! We look forward to meeting you too!
