Amherst PTA Welcome Drive
The Amherst PTA Executive Board welcomes YOU to become a member our local PTA. Our "Welcome Drive" will kick off on Monday, August 27 at AMS Registration. Help us reach our goal of 500 members!
Monday, August 27th, families in Amherst will be registering their children for school. The Amherst PTA Executive Board will be there to welcome them and to kick off the annual "Welcome Membership Drive". This year the board has a goal to have 500 members by October 1. If the goal is met, the Executive Board will host a free ice-cream social for all members and their families.
The purpose of the PTA is to build close relationships between the home and schools and to cooperate in the education of our youth.
PTA membership is open to anyone who wants to be involved and make a difference in the education, health, and welfare of our youth. The PTA is meant to keep families informed and involved. It is meant to support education through active participation, programming, and activities.
