County Taxes - Hillsborough County UP
Hillsborough County taxes to go up between 5 and 6 percent. Vote to raise the taxes were along party lines with the Democrat members voting in lock step for the huge increase.
Be sure to refer to the county tax portion of your property tax bills. You may, but then again may not want to write or call your Democrat representatives of Hillsborough County and thank them for the 5 to 6 percent increase in your County taxes. Many will note this is between 2 and 3 times the actual annual inflation rate. Apparently it is believed by some that this doesn't matter. Hope you get a 5 to 6 percent raise this year to help offset the additional taxes.
