I was pleased to learn that Mark Vincent known for his work in town government and as a member of the ACA has decided to seek the vacant position of selectman.
I am sure there are a number of candidates for this position including some who have previously served in the position. Recent events have clearly identified a long history of less than effective town governance, broken promise, and wasteful and clandestine spending, for these reason alone it seems prudent to select a candidate who does not carry the burden of those misadventures back to the board.
I ask those reading this to join me in letting the current board members know that supporting Mark is to support open and effective governance and refuting the temptation to return to the tired old policy.
